DTI Report 1992

Ecoflow fuel conditioners were tested by the UK Government’s Department of Trade and Industry at their Warren Spring Laboratory in 1992.

The results included an average 9.5% increase in power; an 11% saving in fuel consumption and very significant reductions in all measured pollutant gases.

A separate 21 page report is available.

Although engine design and engine management systems have progressed significantly since that time, this does not in any way detract from the fact that the treatment of fuel was proven to have led to an improvement in the combustion process, thereby saving fuel and reducing harmful emissions.

Motoflow for Petrol & Diesel Engines

Magnetic Technology

The last two decades has seen tremendous advancements in magnetic technology.  The strontium ceramic magnets made for Ecoflow Plc are over a hundred times more powerful than early magnets.  They are anisotropic.  Once charged they do not require maintenance or recharging.  They become a permanent energy source, losing only 2% of their power over 100 years; and thereby it is possible to offer a lifetime guarantee on the magnetic properties of the Motoflow products.

Reduced Emissions

Improved combustion provides a reduction in exhaust pollutants.  The laboratory tests showed a reduction in all measured pollutant gases from available fuel.  Of course there will also be a further reduction in direct relation to any fuel savings.

Smoother Engine

The smoothness of the engine, together with the increased torque are often the first benefits to be noticed.

Easy Fitting, Maintenance Free

Fitting Motoflow units takes just a few minutes.  No special tools are required.  Once fitted the Motoflow remains maintenance free for life.

Reduced Consumption

Fuel consumption is reduced due to better usage of the fuel available.  Customers using Motoflow confirm savings ranging from 7% to over 20%.

Better Consumption

By placing a charge into the fuel, a more complete combustion is achieved.

Improved Power

The improved combustion provides more available power.

Improves Fuel Consumption

Provided the improved power is not used for extra performance, fuel consumption will be improved.  It is not possible to predict what savings will be obtained from any particular

application as this depends on a number of factors like driving techniques, weather/engine condition, etc.  Most cost conscious customers enjoy savings around 10% but many have reported much higher savings.

Cleaner Engine

The carbon crust that generally builds up within the combustion chamber restricts the airflow and reduces performance.  Fuel treated by Motoflow helps to reduce and often removes this crust.

Longer Plug life

The spark plugs will stay cleaner and last longer.

Catalytic Converters

Catalytic converters during their process actually reduce the efficiency of an engine and at the same time are gradually destroyed by exhaust fumes and unburned fuel.  The converters are very expensive to replace.  Therefore reducing the unburned fuel and emissions reaching them can save hundreds of pounds alone.

Diesel Gelling

Diesel can gel in sub zero temperatures.  Motoflow’s magnetic field affects the viscosity of the diesel and reduces gelling.

Diesel Bug

Diesel that has been stored or used in hotter climates often attracts microbes that clog the fuel filters and cause expensive deterioration of metal parts.  As the microbes pass through the strategically placed magnetic field, they become disorientated and die before being burnt in the combustion process.

Portability

Motoflow products can easily be moved from one vehicle to another.  This does not affect the Motoflow satisfaction or lifetime guarantee.
